Potentially relevant personal details, not covered in the first post: I’m 29, I studied philosophy and Classics at Queen’s University, and a bit of a law clerking program at Algonquin in Ottawa. Not a lot in the way of real jobs, but they included a library, the federal government, mowing lawns and making coffee. I’m a writer. I’ve been in a long-distance relationship for almost six years with my beloved American Woman, and God willing she’ll be moving up here in the winter.
The title, of course, comes from the Beatles’ “Hey Jude”. St. Jude has always been good to me, and sometime I’ll probably write something about the relation between Jude and Judas and how both figures have affected my spiritual life and (backwards as it may sound) brought me to explore Judaism.
